Friday, 18 May: Flowers on Canvas.
Wednesday, 13 June: Cartoon at the Seaside.
Saturday, 14 July: A Fine Romance, cartoon in oil.
Friday, 10 August: Poppy field watercolour.
Friday, 24 August: Mouse in pastel.
Friday. £18 per workshop, including materials and lunch.
Wednesdays 2, 9, 16 and 23 May: Pencil Drawing Course 2, over four weeks, 9.30am to 12pm, £20.
Fridays, 6, 13 and 20 July: Oil course over 3 weeks, 3 hours 9.30am to 12.30pm, £20.
Craft Workshops: Friday, 20 April: 6.30pm to 9.30pm, Rag Rug taster, materials included £6.
Fridays 11 and 18 May, papier mache mirror, £10 inclusive.

And sometimes I can be persuaded to show photographs of him.

Freezing cold weather didn't deter members of Spalding Arts and Crafts Society from turning out to watch me demonstrate water soluble art materials to create cartoons and illustrations. Hope they enjoyed it.

Studio workshops are £18, including a lunch and refreshments. They run from 10am until 3pm Materials supplied. Park (neatly) in the drive if possible we should get 10 cars in at one time.

NEW: Wednesday 22 February, 7, 14 and 21 March. 4 week Pencil drawing course 9.30-12, £20

HOLIDAYS: The 2012 Holiday letters are out. Holidays will be June 17-23 and 24-30, then August 26-September 1 and September 2-8 Cost is £350 per week. This includes all travel, bed, breakfast and evening meals and day trips. Deposits of £50 on booking and balance 10 weeks before we go.

New workshops for New Year

Monday 7th November 2011

The 2012 series of workshops here at Beach Hut Studio begins on January 25 (Flower necklace, watercolour), and is followed by February 15 (Making rag rugs) and February 26 (Children on the Beach, oils).

European Tour

Monday 7th November 2011

The Artist's European Tour has taken her recently to St Neots and Horncastle art groups and is due to end tomorrow night at Brothertoft Tuesday Club.

Bookings are being taken for a flowers in mixed media workshop at Beach Hut Studio on Sunday, November 6.
It's from 10am to 3pm and the £18 cost includes lunch and materials - and one of Nanny's scones.

More money for church

Thanks to all who helped and supported us at our exhibition at the craft fair in St Guthlac's Church, Fishtoft on Saturday.

Only seven paintings were sold, compared to 17 last year, but an increase in the hanging fee meant we were able to raise £224 for church funds, £7 more than in 2010.

35 artists exhibited 130 pictures.
